I'm assuming it's the person who designed the new trophy. All I remember, or so I think, is that he was an Italian.

I want to put forward a little question from my side assuming in advance the generous permission of the blog author.
Here goes my question:

The first ever Jules Rimet Cup had quite a hazardous existence for some time.A certain Italian had to hide it in a shoe-box under his bed throughout the second world war thus preventing it from falling into the hands of the occupying troops. Now, who was this gentleman?
